Autumn ChallengeHello everyone,
Because the last challenge wasn't a succes I decided to do a follow-up challenge with a whole different theme and a way longer deadline. This challenge's theme is Autumn. The start of autumn means a lot of things. Coziness, warm beverages, lots AND LOTS of colors, the winter-y clothes get pulled out of the closets again, etc. For this challenge I decided to do some research for you all. Research as in pics for inspiration. I really hope you guys will like what you see, but first! The rules.
The rules for this challenge are:
The deviation has to be made between September 7th 2016 and Oktober 15th 2016
Old deviations won't be counted as an entry for the challenge
If you submit the deviation for other challenges/contests the entry will become invalid
The first 5 people who submit their entry will recieve either 300 or $3 via PayPal,, you choose
All the entries will be featured in a journal in

It's no secret: butterflies are one of my favorite things around! They're just sooo lovely, even with all those legs and terrifying tongues. The symmetry of a butterfly has always spoken to my heart and frustrated me to no end when it's come to crafting. Making things identical, AGGH, nature! I've taken to filling my room with them anyhow, stitched, photo'd, a f
Summer Contest: Part 2 Let's craft!Welcome to part 2 of this awesome contest that seeks to bring the Stock & Resources and Artisan Crafts galleries together. On part 1 the S&R guys created beautiful images for you to use and get inspired by. We want to invite everyone to craft, so there will be novice and intermediate/advanced prizes. We hope that you will join the fun!
As crafters we often require references, but we don't always remember that DA has a whole gallery full of resources at our disposal. Need to sculpt a skull? Decide a background for that cabochon? Find the perfect action pose? Figure out the parts of a cat's leg?

June is, at least where I'm at in the world, the month where everyone is finally getting out of classes and can vacation. I think a lot of people probably go on vacation to beaches or something like that, that's normal, right? I'm a person who likes to vacation by staying at home... so... I decided if I had to go out and vacation it would probably be
I Challenge You v.2 - 12 hours left!Hello everyone,
Welcome to a second edition of a brand new art challenge courtesy of your Community Volunteers. We present to you a revised version of the last "I Challenge You" contest wherein this time you will not be paired with other deviants but rather you will work individually and be challenged by a Community Volunteer! We hope this will help get you out of your comfort zone and practice your creative skills, this time on a very individualistic level.
How it works:
Leave a comment on this journal with: the specific art medium you'd like to be challenged within, and a list of things you refuse to create. Do not include any other information, this is all we require from you.
>Please try to keep the list short of your objections, it should only be things you truly object to creating.
>You may choose only 1 type of art medium to be challenged within. Please choose from the list below.
Example: Digital Art>Photomanipulation
The minion of the dark salami sandwich was set free to roam the world and haunt your dreams.
I like making things from jewlery to sculptures (both from polymer clay) and from traditional to digital art. Traditionally I work with polychromos, ink, fimo, super sculpey, wire and tinfoil. Sometimes even feathers, felt and other things that find me.
